Kiwi heavyweight Mark Hunt has revealed he’s suing the UFC for $2.5 million. Hunt has been outspoken in his fight to receive compensation after his UFC 200 opponent Brock Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance and now he’s launched legal proceedings. The 42-year-old filed the lawsuit in Nevada Distric Court today, alleging the UFC had “affirmatively circumvented and obstructed fair competition for their own benefit.” It’s an awkward position for the power puncher given he’s still contracted to the UFC and scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem in Las Vegas in March. “I have filed a lawsuit against the UFC today,” Hunt wrote on Facebook. “If the fight with Overeem doesn’t go ahead you will all know why.” “I want the UFC to understand … Next »
